OPEX ANALYTICA was initially just one man with a laptop and a desire to make people understand data better, and make more informed decisions in their daily life. Quickly, what was meant to be a side project grew into a viable business with a handful of employees. At first, OPEX ANALYTICA’s main focus was business process improvement through data analysis and visualization, but slowly the team grew and was able to focus more on projects requiring big data and predictive analytics expertise.
A seasoned Mathematical Statistician and advocate for Process Excellence, Chris is a certified LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt and Statistical Data Science Engineer with 10+ years of increasing leadership demonstrated through the delivery of large-scale, business-critical projects within time, cost, and KPI constraints with US-based industry leaders. Respected leader and proven team player with diverse experience, including new product introduction, LEAN Six Sigma problem-solving methodologies, Data Science, Continuous Improvement project management. His passion for numbers has led him into teaching where he served as advanced level Math and Statistics Instructor in the city of Atlanta, and has since transitioned into business consulting. He provides Data Analytics and Business Process Improvement consulting and training to clients from Marketing, Retail, Healthcare, Banking and Finance, Manufacturing Operations. His core competencies include: Data Science, Machine Learning Predictive Analytics, Visualization/Dashboard, Data Engineering (Data Pipeline, Real-time streaming and Batch processing, SQL/NoSQL), Statistical Engineering (Process Optimization), Lean Six-Sigma Structured Problem-Solving Methodologies.
Danisha is a Senior statistician with experience applying advanced analytics to complex business problems. She leverages the latest developments in data science to help organizations build dynamic tools and models that allow users to solve business objectives with data. She is committed to implementing practices that minimize the use of technical jargon and maximizes the use of the language of the business, helping ease communication challenges faced daily in today’s digital society. Her specific areas of interest include Bayesian methods, time series analysis, Test & Evaluation of systems, and signal processing. She has worked with a variety of existing and novel data sources, including survey data, EHR, financial, biological and censored data.
Xin thrives working as a part of a highly skilled team tasked with solving difficult problems where applying true creativity is required to be successful. He brings 10+ years of progressive experience in software industry. currently, he works as backend engineer of site infrastructure and platform services, and has previously worked as full-stack engineer. He is comfortable leading as well as learning from others on a team. His specialties include languages such as: java, javascript, shell, C/C++, Object-C, C, C++, python, groovy and he is an adept of embedded systems on mobile platforms.
Christopher “Chris” JESS is an expert in Industrial Engineering and a certified LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt. He brings in 10+ years of demonstrated experience in compliance and quality improvement in highly regulated industries such as Automotive and Medical Device. He is a visionary and detail-oriented engineer with a proven track record of leading and supporting large-scale manufacturing projects and transformations, using Lean Six Sigma methods to solve complex problems, improve performance, and reduce costs. He has a passion for designing new processes and implementing innovative systems that optimize production efficiency, reliability, and safety.
